There are 3 community parks, a public library, museum, recreation center, swimming pool, 8 tennis courts, 8 racquetball courts, 6 softball fields, community centers, a golf course, bowling alley, shooting range, and the county fairgrounds. There is also an array of medical care facilities, schools, grocery stores, banks, restaurants, etc., as you would expect in a county seat. It is the economic hub for northeastern Arizona.

The south side of these properties borders along Cash Lane, just over half a mile from its intersection with Sheri Road.
