Buena Suerte Ranch sets 1 hour southeast of Laredo,Tx in Zapata,Co. The ranch has the best of both hunting worlds in regards to high fence and low fence pastures [CAN BE DIVIDED]. The BSR is very well known throughout the whitetail hunting community. World renowned Tejano music artist Ricky Munoz of Intocable has turned this ranch into a whitetail Mecca since the inception of his dream back in 2005. Via full time wildlife biologist E.J.Varos over as many years, together they have left an everlasting footprint in the whitetail hunting industry. The ranch is turn-key and very diverse in its soil changes from great sandy loam quail country to tight loam clay creek bottoms and runoffs that allow for a multitude of tanks large and small. The ranch has a nice topography layout to it as there are views for miles and jungle like thick areas. It would be easier to write down which South Texas brush species the ranch lacks because I can't think of any, the ranch seems to consist of all typical South Texas browse.

There is a really nice lodge overlooking a large pond that lies right off the covered back porch. The lodge is spacious with individual guest rooms with their own restrooms extending out each side of the main lodge down two separate wings and private entries for each guest. There is also a house for the ranch hand and another for the biologist. There is a shop building and set of horse stables also near the main lodge.

The low fence pasture which lies in the back of the ranch is approximately 3903.67 acres, there is a 696.91 high fence pasture for exotics, which has some nilgai and a few other species in it but just a handful of anything really. The remaining 2871.53 acres is the house pasture and home to the trophy whitetail which also consist of 4 Deer Management Pens for herd improvement.
