There are 1,500 acres of land on the Murphy-Larsen Ranch. The eleven homesites are located on the South Murphy-Larsen, a curving ridge that overlooks the Continental Divide. The homesites share an extensive network of trails that lead to the Routt National Forest and Wilderness lands. Homeowners have common ownership of the adjacent 875-acre North Murphy-Larsen. The homesites have views across the Elk River Valley east to the Continental Divide. Mature aspens groves span across the ranch. Small open meadows and vistas with unobstructed snowy mountain views create desirable building sites. National forest access is just a short stroll on the extensive trail system on the ranch. The trails, maintained year-round provide excellent terrain for cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and riding around the ranch. There are two cabins located on the ranch for owners to gather, host events, or relax year-round. The private water system on the Murphy-Larsen supplies water to the lot which also has underground electric and fiber high-speed internet.
