Great dry-land farms are extremely hard to find in Jones County, so don't sleep on this one! The Staley Farm comprises 417 acres, mostly cultivated and farmed by a very conscientious local farmer who typically rotates crops between cotton and wheat, which is the common practice in this area.
The soils are Rowena Clay Loam and Sagerton Clay Loam, which are some of the county's favorite soils. The south end has a few trees, an earth stock tank, and a seasonal creek that provides some hunting as well. We don't expect this farm to last long, so please call John Ekdahl today to take a look!
