There is ample grazing country throughout with good bermuda grass and other native grasses. The ranch is gently sloping with elevation ranging from 610 down to 500 allowing beautiful views of neighboring countryside. Adjacent to the creek system you will find a mosaic of small tree-lined meadows.
WILDLIFE
Stanford Farm is home to a great combination of game species for year-round enjoyment and management. There is a great population of deer and strong populations of hogs and other predators. This ranch has four active deer blinds and feeders strategically positioned across the ranch and has historically been lightly hunted.
AGRICULTURE
The primary soils on the ranch consist of Wolfpen loamy fine sands and Woodtell loam. A little over half of the ranch is open pastureland that has recently been cut and hosts the opportunity for a small cattle operation that wouldn't impede on the hunting environment.
IMPROVEMENTS
On the North side of the ranch is a barn. The ranch is ready for development, but does not have a headquarters on it currently.
WATER
The Wet Lacy Fork Creek system runs from east to west through the middle of the ranch and supports native water-tolerant hardwoods, conifers, and grasses. A live and active natural spring is present along the creek, along with a drilled water well on the eastern portion of the ranch.

Canton is home to the worlds largest flea market called the First Monday Trade Days a popular flea market is open one weekend a month, attracts upwards of 100,000 shoppers, and provides spaces for over 5,000 vendors located on over 400 acres with over 700,000 square feet of covered shopping.
