Stagestand Ranch is a legacy ranch that has been in the same ownership for decades with history going back as far as the mid to late 1800’s. Duncan, Oklahoma is known as the Heart of the Chisom Trail. Stagestand Ranch gets its name from being a vital part of the Chisholm Trail serving as the stopping point for stagecoaches and horseman for horse exchange, watering and an overall resting location along this long journey. There are 4 water wells on the ranch with one older well in Section 28 to the west not in use, one well that supplies the main ranch house and headquarters, one at the horse barn area and one active well on the eastern side of the ranch for additional water sources.

Minerals are not included with the sale of the property. Some production exists on the ranch and most well sites are fenced and gated to eliminate any interference with the livestock.

Location

Stagestand Ranch is located on the western side of the city of Duncan, Oklahoma. The eastern 1/3 rd of the ranch lies within the city limits. This ranch offers exceptional access with paved county roads and a highway.

Local grain elevators, livestock auctions and ranch suppliers are all within a short commute of the ranch.

Stagestand Ranch lies in two separate school districts. Duncan Public Schools makes up a third of the ranch to the east with that portion of ranch located in the city limits of Duncan and the western side of the ranch in the Empire School District.
