From the 5,500-foot summit on the property, there are wide vistas looking south into Boise and east toward Oregon. The entire Treasure Valley from Boise to Ontario, Oregon can be seen from this property. Looking directly south from the property summit the views extend across eastern Boise all the way into Nevada. Looking northeast over Mount Heinen the Sawtooth Range is also visible and Bogus Basin summit can be seen to the northwest of the property summit.

Directions

From St. Luke's Hospital in downtown Boise take E. Reserve Street to Shaw Mountain Road and then from Shaw Mountain Road for five miles to Boise Ridge Road. To the Aldape Summit adjacent to Lot 6 at Crazy Woman subdivision. The drive over an unpaved road to the summit is approximately 7.8 miles. From Robie Creek Road take Rocky Canyon Road to the left to Boise Ridge Rad to the Aldape summit.

From Robie Creek Road to the summit at Lot 6 is approximately 4.5 miles. At Rocky Road Way (Tollgate Road) go right. Take second right onto Crazy Woman Way to the end. Lot 6 is on the right where the road ends left less than 1/4 mile from Rocky Road Way.
