Given the amount of frontage, there are still many spots along the river that can be developed as your personal cabin or home site as long as you stay a minimum required distance from existing structures. There are some very reasonable annual dues required each year to cover utilities, taxes, etc.

Plus, beginning at its northern end and ending just south of Cheadle Falls, you will be hard pressed to find a prettier private stretch of the river.
