Are you a mountain man or woman. This place is made for you. Percend on a bench on the side of Sheep Mountain. It's less than 60 miles from Palmer on the Glenn Hwy. The access is by foot up a very steep hill to the level area on top. Spring water in summer. Amazing view of the Matanuska Glacier and Lion's Head. Access to the back country from your back door. Great hunting but you can only photograph the dall sheep because this is inside the Sheep Mountain Preserve.
