Upon arrival in the area, I was most impressed with the rolling topography sprinkled with small hobby farms and other properties. The low density of the area had a soothing feel. The watershed creates a mosaic of small farms and woodlots that show plenty of sign of wildlife. Maple trees and hardwoods abound in this region, and I came across sugar bushes tapping trees for maple syrup. Interstate 94 was only a few miles north, so hop on County Highway 128 and easily commute to the Minneapolis St. Paul market or Menomonie, WI area. Small tracts of land like this are extremely hard to find these days, so act fast, or this too will be gone! Call Land Specialist Neil A. Hauger for a private tour.
