MINING CLAIM OWNERSHIP

OWNER FINANCING

This is a legally registered unpatented 20 acre gold and gem mining claim for sale, the Searchlight Gold #2.

Washes run thru the claim at the base of the mountain buttes on the claim, being good places for gold,

Up the buttes on the claim are good places for gems.

Camp on the claim in flatter areas just off the road, or area National Forest campgrounds.

Great prospecting location with the butte ridges on the claim where Summer rains bring down gold and gems from the mountainsides onto the claim.

Located near the quaint mountain town of Searchlight once a thriving gold mining area, and an hour SE from Las Vegas.

Gold prices have reached an all time high of over $2500 per ounce.

ThIs old mining district was explored and mined for precious metals and turquoise in the early 1900s, and exploration has been done in modern times for gold.

This claim is in a very mineralized area, and is great for rock hounds, metal detecting, relic hunting, and dry-washing. Many historical gold rich producing mines were in this area,

Canyon mountain views and great views of the surrounding mountains and rock formations.

We found some nice specimens of Black Fire Opal (the Nevada State gem), agates, and turquoise.

Arrowheads and relics are often found in this area dating back to the Paiute Nation.

Owning a mining claim is having access to a lifetime of great family fun and recreation, in a very beautiful, natural setting.

Nevada, is a great, scenic state, where the spirit of the Old West still lives on.

National Forests remained open at all times during the virus with a televised invitation by the Director for families to visit them as safe places for family recreation, making our mining claims some of the safest places for your family to enjoy and get away from all the nonsense.

NEVADA ROCKHOUNDING

Nevada is an actual rockhounding paradise. The reason is Nevada was once totally under water, back when giant marine reptiles swam freely in a gigantic, shallow sea in an area that would later become Nevadas Great Basin. Majorgeological activity happened, making way for massive deposits of silver, gold, opalized wood, onyx, agate, geodes, jasper, turquoise, and a whole lotta fossils. It helped make Nevada the lucrative mining area it is today.

In Nevada, spending the day searching for little bits of natural history can be the perfect way to connect with the great outdoors. You will have the thrill of cracking open a slab of shale to reveal a trilobite fossil or unearthing a gorgeous nugget of turquoise. Once you find your first gemstone, youll wonder why you didnt start rockhounding earlier.

GOLD HISTORY

The mining districts of Clark County are scattered through the many north-trending mountain ranges characteristic of this part of the State.

Although there is some indication of early small-scale mining by Indians and Spanish explorers, it was not until 1855, when the Mormon settlers began operating the Potosi mine in the Goodsprings district, that large-scale lode mining began. The Potosi is the oldest lode mine in the State. Gold-silver deposits were discovered in the Eldorado district in 1857, and some time later, in the Goodsprings and Searchlight districts.

TOWN OF SEARCHLIGHT

A mining town that grew up around a rich gold strike in 1897, Searchlight succeeded Pioche as the principal city of southern Nevada when production began in earnest in 1902.

These days Searchlight is basking in a new prosperity based on its location on the ever busier US 95 traffic corridor between Las Vegas and Laughlin.

The origin of the towns unusual name is explained in an exhibit at the small museum a short distance east on the Cottonwood Cove road. It says the Mining District (and therefore the town that grew up there) was named for a brand of wooden matches.

The display includes a piece of the wooden box they came in. Its big enough to serve as a small writing-desk (the original laptop!) and its easy to picture a group of elated miners searching their excited minds for a name to give their discovery.

It's not hard to find exciting things to see and do in Searchlight. An abundance of tours are available to explore the area including trips to an old Gold Mine, and trips to Joshua Tree and Grand Canyon National Parks.

COTTONWOOD COVE: Located about 45 miles north of Laughlin on the North end of Lake Mohave, this recreational and resort facility offers an array of watersport activities for any outdoor enthusiast: fishing, boating, water skiing, swimming and camping. Cottonwood Cove provides RV services, boat rentals, boat slips and marina conveniences, launch ramps, swimming beaches, picnic areas, restaurants and great access to the lake.

LAKE MOHAVE is a reservoir on the Colorado River created in 1951 following the completion of Davis Dam near present-day Laughlin, Nevada, and Bullhead City, Arizona. Named for the Mohave Indians who previously inhabited this region of the Colorado River valley, Lake Mohave extends approximately 67 miles along the valley from Hoover Dam to Davis Dam straddling the southern Nevada and northwestern Arizona border, which follows the original river channel.

STATE OF NEVADA

More than 80% of Nevada is public land, the highest percentage of any state. So, when it comes to Nevada, this land literally is your land. Were a state of radically diverse terrainfrom striking desertscapes to forested mountain slopes. So, whether youre in the mood for hiking, camping, or hot springing beneath the stars, Nevadas boundless wilderness gateways beckon.

TOIYABE NATIOAL FOREST

Explore the diverse landscapes of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest. From towering snow-capped peaks to wide-open sage steppes, the Forest is known for its many recreational opportunities.

The Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forests spectacular 6.3 million acres make it the largest National Forest in the lower 48 states. The Forest does not resemble most other National Forests in that it has numerous fairly large but non-contiguous sections scattered across most of the state of Nevada and a portion of eastern California.

SPRING MOUNTAINS

The Spring Mountains are less than an hour drive from Las Vegas in the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest.

Visitors can escape to the mountains and enjoy cooler weather and panoramic views that provide a quick getaway from the city. This recreation area is three thousand and sixteen acres and consists of diverse and beautiful snow-capped mountain peaks that are surrounded by desert. The area is open year-round and visitors can expect to see an array of diverse wildlife and vegetation. The area is quite popular during the summer months because temperatures tend to be significantly cooler due to the higher elevations in the mountains. The scenery provides a nice and relaxing place for a casual drive, hiking, picnicking, wildlife viewing, and photography. There are many other things to do at Mount Charleston for the more adventurous individual as well, such as horseback riding, rock climbing, and other snow-oriented activities such as skiing, snowboarding, and snowshoeing.

On our trips to the claim, we found about 1/8 of an ounce of gold in and around the extended washes on the claim, value approx. $225. Those with more time to prospect may find more. Today's gold prices are over $2500/ounce.

Though we could never guarantee what you will find, we did locate this claim in an historically rich area for gold prospecting.

Gold prices have gone up over $500 per ounce in the past 2 years.

We also found some nice specimens of Black Fire Opal (the Nevada State gem), agates, and turquoise.

An unpatented mining claim is a specific parcel of federal land, valuable for a specific mineral deposit or deposits. It is a parcel for which an individual has asserted a legal right of possession and the right to develop and extract a discovered, valuable, mineral deposit. Mining claims are real property that you can buy, sell, or inherit. After proving the existence of valuable minerals on the land, the claim is legally recorded with the Bureau of Land Management, and Pinal county.

Gold always occurs in gravels in the metallic state and when so found has various physical characteristics. Gold is dense and heavy, it has a characteristic metallic color, and it is soft and easily malleable (it is easily formed by hammering). These are the characteristics used by prospectors to identify gold in the field. Placer gold occurs on the claim as small grains derived from gossan formed by weathering, and oxidation of the gold, copper and iron rich veins. Gold also occurs as grains flakes and small nuggets derived from the erosion of mineralized fault zones.

The Federal Government owns the land.

You are purchasing the mineral rights.

You own the mineral rights, including gold and gems on the claim, as real property, being the same legal ownership as for land and homes.

You can legally camp for free, with camper and RV on the whole 20 acres.

A claim owner does not need permission nor a permit to camp and prospect.

Prospect, explore, and camp on the whole 20 acres.

This is not a sharing of a mining claim: Is your exclusive ownership.

We live in Ohio. Our connection to the West is our daughter lives in Denver, though she is not involved with our claims. We visited her in the Fall then went to explore, prospect, and locate claims in Nevada and other states, as we have been doing for a number of years.

And just a note of encouragement for you if purchase:

My wife and I have located, prospected on, and sold mining claims in

California, Colorado, Arizona, Montana, South Dakota, Wyoming, and now also Nevada, Idaho and Utah, going on now for over 25 years.

You can trust we will process your notarized deeds correctly and quickly.

In that mining claims are processed thru the Bureau of Land Management, a

Federal Govt. agency, not following thru per our legally signed contract, would be a federal crime. I certainly will do what I say, and would never put myself nor my wife in any legal jeopardy.

Also, we have sold properties on 3 sites online for over 25 years:

Landwatch, LandandFarm, and Landcom.

Our continued good status on these sites is due to our always following thru, as just one time we would not, we would not be allowed to sell on these sites ever again.

COMMENTS FROM SATISFIED CLAIM BUYERS:

"We live in Arizona and purchased a mining claim from Mr. Leu.

The claim is everything as advertised. The Superstition Mountains make for awesome views. We have camped on our claim a number of times and have found gold in the wash on our claim. We are very happy with our purchase.

I'm looking forward to having some time on the mining claim.

We used to go camping 4-6 weeks out of the year.

Even though I realize this is a retirement business for you. I wanted to say thank you for giving so many people over the years the opportunity to purchase your claims. I've seen them available for a long time, but never had the opportunity to purchase anything. They have probably brought many smiles to so many people. It will be the same for us.

looking to buy one also in California as we look to plan family vacations around our claims.

Thanks Michael. We took our girls to the campsite area closest to the claim last weekend.

It was a great experience. Were really looking forward to raising them up to be adventure seekers, nature loves and Creation appreciators. This claim has already brought and provided a wonderful experience for my family. Thank you so much for the claim purchase.
