The cabin lies inside a fully fenced in area with heavy duty pipe railing separating itself from the rest of the ranch. Complete with a set of great working pens, hanging rack, a blind and a feeder. Furnished 2 bedroom, one bath cabin with wood burning stove, a large kitchen/dining and a covered carport area. Well house with storage, septic and electricity. 2000 gallon cistern that provides water to 7 troughs across the ranch providing adequate water for livestock and game.

Terrain: The compound sits below the rest of the ranch in a quiet valley area. There is a road that takes you to top country where you feel like you are on top off the world. Drastic elevation changes with so much country to cover. Wild and serene with game trails going every which direction. The flora of Carta Valley area blends the traditional Hill Country plantssuch as live oaks, cedar, pinon pine, hackberry, guajia, to prickly pear cactuswith more arid species typical of desert environments, like yucca and agave. The land can be harsh and unforgiving, but it's a landscape that's adapted to survive with its own kind of quiet grace.

Hunting: Equipped to hunt with 6 blinds and 6 feeders that will convey. This property has rarely been hunted over the past 10 years. Fauna in the region includes a range of creatures suited to both the more temperate and arid elements of the Hill Country.

Native Game: White-tailed Deer and Wild Turkey along with predators such as fox, coyote, wild hogs, mountain lion and the occasional bear.

Exotic Game: Axis, Blackbuck Antelope, Fallow, Red Deer, Elk, Aoudad and wild sheep such as Corsican and mouflon.

Location: Near Carta Valley and about an hour and half from Rocksprings and Del Rio. Lake Amistad is nearby with the best fishing in Texas!
