Black's Hollow is located on Lawson's Bottom Road. As the crow flies, it is approximately six miles northeast of Burkesville, KY, half a mile north of the Cumberland River and eight miles west of the Wolf Creek Damn and Lake Cumberland.
Black's Hollow is a premier holler lot in the Longhollow Acres farm, ideal for a large farmstead/hobby farm, multi-generational family development or even a simple hunting cabin and property. The long, winding nature of this holler provides creates the feeling of being in a personal fortress, and offers almost unmatched seclusion and the opportunity for multiple building sites without sacrificing privacy.
The holler valley, about 600 feet above sea level, runs over a half mile back off the road, framed by ridges on each side standing at approximately 900 feet above sea level. The landscape ranges from flat pasture (in the holler valley) to gently rolling hills up to steep slopes. Much of the wooded areas contain marketable hardwood timber, and the results of a recent timber cruise are available upon request.
The valley is transected by a wet weather creek, and boasts a year-round spring-fed pond.
Wildlife - including small game, turkey, occasional black-bear and some of the healthiest white tail population in the region frequents this parcel.
