Karen D Polanco

Karen Denise Polanco was born and raised in El Paso Texas, she is a Hanks High School graduate and a graduate from UT Arlington where she majored in Business and Travel and Tourism. She has been in the hospitality industry for over 17 years. Her main positions were in sales, marketing, and operations. She spent ten years with Marriott Hotels, three years with Hilton, and three years with Wyndham Hotels. This does not include three boutique hotels where she opened from groundbreaking and up. Through all of Karen's success, she was also able to obtain her real estate license in 2011. She has worked with Century 21 The Edge, Majestic Realtors and Bella Homes, Keller Williams, and for the last years has been with Home Pros Real Estate Group where she runs Team Haus with four agents. Karen has worked all aspects of real estate collaborating with buyers, sellers, rentals, commercial, builders, and even non-profit organizations. Karen's main goal is to take all her hospitality management experience and start her own team in which she incorporates all the aspects of hospitality into her real estate business. Karen s main drivers to success are constant marketing, follow-up, business knowledge, and customer service. By incorporating these main four principles, she will continue to be successful and strive in the real estate industry. Karen is also a proud mother of two and makes all she does worth living. She tries to instill clever work ethics in her children and stresses work-life-family balance in all she does. She was married in 2018 to Isaac Barcena, a past high school sweetheart.
